Transfers from the Airports - There are regular coach transfers from Sofia. There are also affordable and bookable car and mini-bus transfers from Sofia and Plovdiv airports up to Pamporovo (right to your hotel door). 

Please Note: We do not normally make transfer arrangements of behalf of our clients. Please make your own arrangements and pay the transfer company directly. We will be happy to provide advice and further information if required.

It is also possible to hire cars and mini-buses from either Plovdiv or Sofia Airports. (e.g. small car from €20 per day)

There is also a regular public transport bus service from Sofia to Pamporovo.

 

By car it is about 3 hours from Sofia to Pamporovo, and about 1.5 hours from Plovdiv Airport to Pamporovo.

Do I need to hire a car? - Everything you need to have a great holiday is right on your doorstep (restaurant, bars and entertainment) within the Perelik Palace complex, so a car is definitely not essential (you can also book local taxis from the hotel). However if you want more freedom then we do recommend having your own transport on hand so that you can get around and enjoy a wider experience of the interesting local towns and villages. Having your own transport will also increase your options of where to ski from and where to apre-ski ! Driving up to Perelik Palace is very straightforward, and we will provide you with detailed step by step route instructions to help you on your way. We can also provide information on great value motel stops on the way if you want to break your journey overnight.
